LOGISTICS ASSISTANT

Bristol, Vermont

CDL USA is a completely integrated company that develops, manufactures and distributes maple sugaring equipment. We are currently looking for a logistics assistant to join our team.  Logistics is a key component in the continued success of CDL USA.  This is a part-time position located in Bristol, Vermont, that requires working on Saturdays during the busy season, you would report to and work directly with the CDL USA Regional Store Manager.

The job duties consist of:

• Tracking and maintaining stock levels, including knowing the location of goods in the warehouse
• Overseeing the shipping process, including arranging outgoing shipments, preparing packing lists, and attaching shipping labels
• Completing purchase orders and invoices and filing documents
• Communicating with other CDL USA stores and customers to ensure timely delivery
• Assisting in resolving any logistics issues
• Developing processes that make the supply chain more efficient and organized
• Good customer relations
• Ensuring that the facility remains clean, sanitary, and well-organized
• Operate a forklift

• Excellent customer service skills even in stressful situations
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Basic computer skills
